The Bureau of Magical Investigation

The city of Gleamterra! A metropolis filled with all sorts of magical and mystical creatures, from the smallest goblin to the biggest ogre. Within the confines of the city’s walls thousands of citizens shuffle through the streets, spending hours upon hours working, playing and working.

Of course, with a city as diverse as Gleamterra, there can be all sorts of magical mishaps that can happen to the wonderful inhabitants. When these situations happen only one group can be trusted to handle it, and that business is:

WHAT IS THE BUREAU OF MAGICAL INVESTIGATION

The Bureau of Magical Investigation is a rules-light TTRPG for 3 to 5 players.

As investigators for The Bureau of Magical Investigation, players will explore the city of Gleamterra; solving crimes and helping the people of the city. The game is inspired by mystery classics like Herule Poirot and Scooby-Doo and looks to create a light-hearted investigation game.

Designed to be approachable for players of all ages, the game relies less on die rolls and more on collaborative and improvisational role-playing.

PLAYTEST

This game is still a work in progress! Consider this a beta, or a very late alpha version of a videogame, and things are likely to change over time. This release gives me an opportunity to get feedback on the game from a greater amount of people. 

As such, this version of the game comes with the core rulebook which includes a character sheet. Overtime there may be more content added to both the core rulebook and the bundle this includes:

• An additional story module run a game based off of.
• A nicer looking rulebook, with proper art and design elements (maps, etc).
• And other additions that might be included down the line!
